I love the Death series by JD Robb - I must get back to them! I also enjoy the Donna Leon books - they are set in Venice and great fun to read (again a great detective series). Have you read the Jo Nesbo books? I am currently reading a book by a new Aussie author - Jane Harper. Her first book "The Dry" was brilliant and I have just started her 2nd book "Force of Nature".
