I think he'd make an excellent card. <br /><br />In regards to your comment on my blog, I usually use HobbyWare's Pattern Maker, which is probably the most used birthday gift I've ever received, but if you're looking for a freeware alternative, KG Stitch is an excellent (and easy to find on Google) pattern maker. I used it on my laptop before getting my disc drive, and it does everything a pattern maker from a store can quite well- the last cross stitch pattern book I got even used the program in their published pages!
