New Instagram Account

I now have two instagram accounts! 

This is big news for me as I have just been posting in the same instagram account @naughtscrossstitches since 2014. I would post mostly craft stuff and then the random fitness or life post. But as my fitness journey has gotten so much more important and it was taking up about half of the posts and the tags just weren't quite turning into follows because someone interested in fitness posts tends not to like craft posts. At least not always... I may be more of an odd one out. Actually crafters will follow the fitness posts but fitness people won't necessarily follow the craft posts...

Can you guys comment below an answer to this? Would you follow both Fitness and Craft accounts? Or would you prefer one or the other?

Anyway, off the tangent, you can find my fitness and general life account at @naughtslife_fitness here I will share my journey getting fit and strong and general life fun.

The other reason is I have a large amount of patterns about to be published and I want to have a place more devoted to crafts and where I can really push those patterns without being annoying to my other followers. A crafter will happily see minute progress in a project while a non crafter will start to wonder why it's taking so long! I will update you guys here about my latest patterns too. I have an accountant one that is SO cute, I may be biased, and I'm almost finished the test stitch for it! You can see it below... I think you will love it too!

So there is a lot more coming and I hope you're still interested in hearing both the fitness and craft news :D

Pokemon Drawing

I've always been a big pokemon fan and when I fell back into it this week guess what becomes the topic of my drawings? I've always loved bulbasaur and squirtle but I'm currently playing pokemon blue with bulbasaur. It's a bit of fun nostalgia :D



I never trace my pictures but I do use a reference picture in front of me. #pokemon #drawing #watercolourpencils #nowater #derwent

WIP WEDNESDAY

I've had that sort of craft day... instead of taking my big cross stitch to my craft day I took my containers full of little projects. I finished one that was meant to be finished in February, finish finished a project while taking photos so I can write up a tutorial to share. And have got another of my projects out and I'm stitching with the hope of finishing it. I need to get control of all my WIP and actually keep finishing stuff. It won't take long if I actually try. I just love starting new ideas and projects. But I also love the feeling as projects are finished and I can tick them off my list. #crossstitch #wip #wipwednesday #instablog So bye! Instagram this week :D

I've realised I don't get many followers of my blog reading my instagram and visa versa. So because I'm doing a couple of photo challenges over there at the moment and just sharing a couple more photos at the moment that I haven't got around to sharing here I wanted to share them all with you.

These photos start from New Years Eve when I was camping down at Ballina. Sitting around the fire (a far way back because it was HOT!) Working on my Diamond Vest.

My Capture 30 Selfie. This is me at the beginning of 2015. 

My journal with the envelope inserts just put in. You will see lots of journal photos because one of the sets of photos I'm doing at the moment is the capture 30 class photos. 
This also fit in among my other photo challenge by @scoutiegirlblog. Day 2 Organisation

 I'm finally getting the energy to sew back :D mum your christmas present is slowly coming together you'll have it soon. Day 4 - Energy

I went walking in the pouring rain. I will get the exercise in. Day 5 - Renewal

Woohoo another Journal this time for my mum is all done :D she loves it which is even better. Day 6 - Completion

Afternoon Tea. My phone is broken so I can take photos but need to use my tablet to post them. A lengthy process. Day 8 - Colourful. I love the colour of summer fruits. 

Capture 30 - we were told to find our favourite pens. I love papermate Ink Joy pens. I just wish they came in thinner pens. They are awesome to write with, so smooth on the paper. I also love that you can get purple. Day 9 - Style We all find a style that works for us. What's your favourite pen?

Capture 30 I've finally got my projectlife inserts for my photos but unfortunately I have to punch the holes to make them fit in my planner but they do fit well. I've also got my 5 everyday into my planner now and my goals. 

Fun in the sun such a great way to spend a hot afternoon. Day 10 - Clean. After all the soap on the black plastic they didn't need a shower. 

I'm making a set of facecloths for myself. They are so pretty and purple :D
