Well here are the pictures! I've finally finished a page!
Doesn't it look pretty :D I was so excited when I finally ... finally finished it! I also spent a while and got rid of all the tacking! I'm going to have to take it out as I go it was too much of a pain on the tight fabric! I love the details in the leaves but I'm not looking forward to this page I think 3/4 is black! oh well it will be fun :D
Happy happy happy dance!
Keep watching for a house photos they should get up sometime today :D

Good work! You made an impressive progress. Looks like now it will be black stitching for you:-)
ReplyDeleteAt least the next page might go a bit quicker for you. Great page finish!
ReplyDeleteNicely done! Just think the finish of the next page will just be followed by the more exciting third page., Sometimes we have to do the black and whites to get to the colors.
ReplyDeleteAt least if it's mostly black it will go fast. All those color changes slow you WAY down... I finally finished the first first page on one of my HAEDs earlier this year. I was very excited about it! It was confetti hell, lol, so it took forever!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing the first page! With that much of one colour, the second page shouldn't take you long. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is really a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteSurely 3/4 black means you can stitch it much faster than say the dreaded confetti I keep seeing people complain about. I love the not to count stitching one got to do. One can take things on the bus - with a lot of chewing gum to decrease the sickness. And much easier with trains and house visits. On the other hand I have never done one colour on a big scale as yours yet. Good luck with next page. Can't wait to see it develop.
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching! Don't worry about the black. It might turn out to be a nice change from the confetti stitches. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great Caitlin!!! I can see the leaves :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Quite the accomplishment :D That's one down... How many more to go?
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so behind in my blog reading. Trying to play catch-up at the moment.

ReplyDeleteGreat progress! Hopefully fewer colours will go faster.
