Giveaways and Boxers!
To Stitch or Not is having a Halloween giveaway.
Crafty Stitchers is giving away a halloween raggedy bagholder
I have managed to do some work on Boxers.
Here is where it was...
And here is where he is now.
I've done a lot around the nose and it's almost done barring a bit of pink. I've also done more brown over on the right. It takes ages to work out where I'm going. But he is almost finished. Then 3 more to go.

Craft Group Today!
I try and do a craft group every month. Though the last couple of months it's been one friend turning up and sitting and crafting. Of course we get a lot done :D
Today was another craft group day but I had 4 people turn up plus mum and me. I had two of my friends, the family I nanny for which means an 8 yr old and her mum plus a boy (he mowed the lawn). We all had slightly different projects. Now I am really naughty with my camera and couldn't be bothered finding it to take pictures so I can't actually show any of their projects.
On the other hand I managed to finish 2 projects that have been banging around downstairs waiting for me to bother to mount/sew them into something useable! I also managed to get some time on Boxers, with lots of white done... boy is that hard to see against the white fabric my eyes were going cross eyed.
Sorry about the really bad photo I couldn't get it to focus right. You get the idea anyway.
I've had this heart finished for ages but never got around to sewing it up. Not entirely happy with it as I couldn't get the heart shape quite right but considering it's my first time sewing up my cross stitch I'm happy.
I also finished a Christmas Card! Totally finished as in I could write a message and give it straight away. Again I'm extremely happy with this one because it's finished.
I also worked on Christmas Kisses yesterday instead of boxers because I wasn't in the mood for brown
Well there are my lots of pretty pictures I've been very busy.

Mini Update
Well I've been to the dentist twice in the last 2 days! I had to go see him yesterday for my regular checkup and today to get a filling. I hate the dentist! To add to my hate I managed to lose my car keys when I needed to be walking out the door so I was late by the time I found where I put them! But on to good news I have done some work on Boxers.
It doesn't look much different but the paw is now all white and so is part of the chest. It is hard to see against the white and it's hard to stitch against the white!
I've also been slowly working on the Margaret Sherry card. it sits in my handbag for those times I can't carry a big kit around.
It's getting there slowly I'm not regularly working on it but it was useful at the dentists today it was something to with my hands while waiting. Because even though I was late so was the dentist.
Hopefully tomorrow will be much better!

My weekend :D
Well I worked all morning yesterday which was lovely I now have no work for a week as it's school holidays! I've really been looking forward to this!
Then after finishing work I went to a wedding! It was lovely. The bride wore her mother's wedding gown and it was stunning. We were technically friends with the groom but I know the bride fairly well as the boys hang out a lot.
She loved the cross stitch called To Have and To Hold, it was a bit of a mad rush to get it framed because I left it until the last minute. I was still lacing it on Friday. I forgot to take a picture of it framed and finished in the rush. But at least I know the bride and groom like the present and appreciate the time.
It was a beautiful and simple wedding and such a pleasure to see.
Her dress was gorgeous though the train was a pain!
I had to buy a new dress so I would have something to wear. I had a terrible time shopping! But in the end I walked into the store and told the lady in portmans what I wanted and she was sooooo much help! I was extremely desperate.
The bride made this cake herself as she is gluten intolerant. It was a delicious cake.
Chloe a little 5 yr old got to Phill's beard with a ribbon. It got tied up on request! As you can tell, the theme was blue. Thanks to lifting and twirling Chloe most of the night he's managed to do his back in!
I did actually get some stitching done, quite a bit actually but this is still slow going.
He's almost done 3 dogs to go after he is finished!

Boxers Update
Well here is the latest bit of work I've done on boxers I'm more than halfway through the page!
The next dog is starting to appear behind the first one too. I love working on this but the colours can get interesting to focus on. So much brown that is really close in colour to the one next to it!

"Just How Many Projects Do You Have Coming?"
My sister asked me today! I had to think for a moment before I could reply not that many!
I counted them out.
- I'm currently working on Boxers
- I have a Magaret Sherry card banging around in my handbag for when I can't carry boxers
- Winter Fairy by JE ( I now have all I need to start it ..... )
- Afternoon Tea by Randal Spangler (which she so nicely pointed out is still on its way here :( )
But to her credit I do sit there and moon over magazines and show her so many patterns that I just need to have but I of course am good and never get around to doing it.
I have been contained I only bought ONE HAED! I wanted to see how I liked the first one before buying a tonne of patterns that I may not like to stitch up. I also contained myself to only buying the fabrics and threads for one of the JE seasonal fairies I think I'm being VERY good!
I did persuade mum to buy me an early birthday present of 2 Q Snap frames the 11" and the 17" but when they get here I know what projects are going on them and my birthday is now less than a month away so hopefully they do actually get here BEFORE my birthday ... I think I got her to order them just in time.
So maybe I do have a lot coming at least when you look at it in terms of a non stitcher but that's because I NEED all this stuff. But the big thing is I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH!! My stash is way to small!

Stitchy Stash :D
So I came home yesterday to find a lovely present sitting on the table!
Not one but three packages! It was lovely, I am such an impatient person when it comes to mail!
When I opened the first one out came:
I won it on the cross stitching forum from the lovely Amanda :D It is a lovely book!
Then I opened my next package!
Midnight Magic fabric from Polstitches, it is such a gorgeous colour.
Then to top it all off the third package had the threads and beads and krienik I need to stitch the Winter Fairy. So now I have everything I need to start that one. Oh to stay strong and avoid it for a little while......
Here is a photo of all my new stash. I will be in ecstasy.

New Look
So I am bored...well not really bored but I am fiddling with designs. I'm not sure what I want my blog to look like. So here is a new look that will probably only last a couple of weeks before I get bored of this look and try something new.
Stitchy fun :)
Well I do actually have an update on boxers! I spent ages yesterday stitching up and you can see the start of of a boxer starting to form rather than a brown blob!
Oh and a LOVELY break from brown I started some grey :D
In between this I have been stitching christmas cards.
But I did start this last year ... and never finished it so now here is my gorgeous finish ... kinda I will be putting it on a card to count it in my goals!

Boxers Update
Though it really isn't much of an update.
So there is quite a bit filled in but it really doesn't look like anything much.
You can see by the chart that I'm working on the back of one of the boxers. so it gives an idea of the shape. This is 3 pages long so I have a long way to go :D
