My weekend :D

Well I worked all morning yesterday which was lovely I now have no work for a week as it's school holidays! I've really been looking forward to this!

Then after finishing work I went to a wedding! It was lovely. The bride wore her mother's wedding gown and it was stunning. We were technically friends with the groom but I know the bride fairly well as the boys hang out a lot.

She loved the cross stitch called To Have and To Hold, it was a bit of a mad rush to get it framed because I left it until the last minute. I was still lacing it on Friday. I forgot to take a picture of it framed and finished in the rush. But at least I know the bride and groom like the present and appreciate the time.

It was a beautiful and simple wedding and such a pleasure to see.

Her dress was gorgeous though the train was a pain!

Phill and me
I had to buy a new dress so I would have something to wear. I had a terrible time shopping! But in the end I walked into the store and told the lady in portmans what I wanted and she was sooooo much help! I was extremely desperate.

The Cake
The bride made this cake herself as she is gluten intolerant. It was a delicious cake.

Phill
Chloe a little 5 yr old got to Phill's beard with a ribbon. It got tied up on request! As you can tell, the theme was blue. Thanks to lifting and twirling Chloe most of the night he's managed to do his back in!

I did actually get some stitching done, quite a bit actually but this is still slow going.

WIP - 18-9-11

He's almost done 3 dogs to go after he is finished!

  2. Looked like a lovely wedding. I'm happy the bride and groom liked the To Have and To Hold cross stitch. I'm still waiting to hear from my cousin about that...
