I added a tree to this little guy and moved his paws. He also has a cool elf-like hat. I thoroughly enjoyed making this little guy and as soon as I can get a program to write patterns (any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!) I will have this one up on my blog.
This was the first time I've ever worked with metallics but they really make it pop! I love the affect.

But all I know is that he is a really really cute guy and I may have to stitch a couple for cards!

That pattern is so cute, and perfectly Christmas-y! I think he'd make an excellent card.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to your comment on my blog, I usually use HobbyWare's Pattern Maker, which is probably the most used birthday gift I've ever received, but if you're looking for a freeware alternative, KG Stitch is an excellent (and easy to find on Google) pattern maker. I used it on my laptop before getting my disc drive, and it does everything a pattern maker from a store can quite well- the last cross stitch pattern book I got even used the program in their published pages! There are a couple of things slightly confusing about it, but from what I've seen, I think that's true of any computer program, no matter what the purpose or cost may be. ^^;
Very cute!
